Enabling Merge Tags for Texting and Emails

EnrollNow offers the ability to include custom variable data in outbound emails and text messages. This feature allows your team to personalize participant communications using participant-specific or study-specific information stored in EnrollNow.

When enabled, merge tags can help your team create more tailored participant outreach and reduce the need to manually update each message before sending.

Because merge tags may pull participant-specific information into outbound communications, your organization should carefully review its internal policies, controls, and compliance requirements before enabling this functionality. Depending on the information included in your variables, emails or text messages may contain sensitive personal or health information, including PII or PHI.

EnrollNow recommends that your organization review applicable internal policies and industry regulations or guidelines, such as HIPAA, ICH E6(R2), NIST 800-53, and ISO standards, before requesting this feature.

To enable merge tags for emails and text messages, please contact EnrollNow Support at help@enrollnow.io or contact your CSM and include the following confirmation:

  1. Your organization acknowledges receipt and review of this information.
  2. Your organization confirms that appropriate policies and controls are in place to support compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

Once EnrollNow receives this confirmation, our team can activate the feature for your account.
