[2026](https://support.enrollnow.io/en/knowledge-base/product-release-notes?hsLang=en#2026) October 19, 2026 # PRODUCT UPDATE VERSION 2.1.10 PLANNED RELEASE OCTOBER 28, 2026 ### New Enhancements #### **Active User Limits (RI-6943)** Each EnrollNow site now displays the total number of user licenses and the number available to assign on the **Site Admin → User** tab. When your site reaches the user limit in your contract, you’ll need to deactivate an active user before adding another. Need more licenses? Contact [customersuccess@enrollnow.io](mailto:customersuccess@enrollnow.io) for assistance. #### **Clearer External Survey Messages (RI-6938)** After an external survey is submitted, the warning icon next to the participant on the Participant Dashboard now indicates whether the survey created a new participant record or updated an existing one. #### **Template Descriptions in Study Settings (RI-6934)** Email and text template descriptions now appear in the list view under Study Settings \> Email and Text. #### **Unique Names for Email and Text Templates (RI-6923)** Email and text templates now require unique names, making them easier for your team to distinguish. When creating or renaming a template, choose a name that isn’t already in use. Existing templates with duplicate names will continue to work. If you edit one, you’ll need to rename it with a unique name. #### **Clearer Choices When Importing Surveys and Templates (RI-5258)** When you import a survey, email template, or text template with the same name as an existing item in the study, EnrollNow now prompts you to continue or cancel. If you continue, the imported version replaces the existing item. #### **Add Participants to Studies from Registry (RI-6945)** The study selection list now displays only studies the user has permission to add participants to. Users can also type any character to filter the list and find a study more quickly. ### Bug Fixes #### **Participant Profiles Stay Open After Adding a Contact Log (RI-7004)** Fixed an issue where saving a Contact Log entry on a participant’s profile would close the profile when **Combined View** was selected on the **Display** tab. The profile now stays open so you can continue working. #### **Calculated Survey Results Save Correctly (RI-7002)** Fixed an issue where a calculated numeric value was not saved when the survey question was linked to a long-text custom variable. #### **Survey Expand Arrows Display Correctly (RI-6999)** Fixed an issue that caused oversized arrows to appear when some users opened collapsed sections. The arrows now display at the correct size. #### **Survey Settings Show Checkmarks Correctly (RI-6998)** Fixed an issue where selected checkboxes—including **Visible**, **Read-Only**, and **Required**—sometimes appeared empty. Checkmarks now display correctly, making it clear which settings are enabled. #### **Survey Rule Menus Stay Visible (RI-6954, RI-7001)** Fixed an issue where the menus for editing logic rules or validation settings could be cut off or appear outside the visible editor area. The menus now remain fully visible, making it easier to view and select available options. #### **Add Participants to Studies Without Refreshing (RI-6945)** Fixed an issue that prevented users from adding a participant to additional studies in separate actions after adding them to the first study. Participants can now be added to multiple studies one after another. #### **Email Notifications Follow Your Preferences (RI-6936)** When a user selects **Notify** while creating an email for a participant, notifications now go only to study users who have enabled **Participant Email** notifications for that study in **My Account**. Previously, all study users received an email notification. #### **Signed Consent Forms Show the Original Date (RI-6702)** Fixed an issue where opening a signed submission from the participant’s **Forms** tab or generating its PDF caused `currentDate()` expressions to recalculate. This could replace the original submission date displayed on the form or PDF with the current date.
