Key Metrics Explained
Progress Bar
The progress bar displays the percentage of your enrollment goal that has been completed.
- Calculated based on Sample Size (N)
- Reflects total enrolled participants only
- Does not factor in time remaining
Example:
If your Sample Size is 100 and 45 participants are enrolled, the progress bar will display 45% completion
Total Participants Recruited
This metric shows:
- The number of participants currently enrolled
- The number of participants remaining to reach your goal
This provides a quick view of how close your study is to full enrollment.
On-Target Performance
On-Target Performance evaluates whether your study is progressing at the expected pace.
- Considers both:
- Number of participants enrolled
- Time remaining in the recruitment period
- Indicates whether recruitment is:
- On track
- Ahead of schedule
- Behind schedule
This metric helps guide decisions on whether recruitment strategies need to be adjusted.
