This feature is useful for sending reminders, announcements, holiday greetings, and other important communications related to the study. Bulk texts can be created from scratch or by using an existing text template.   LIMITATION NOTE: EnrollNow is designed to limit outgoing bulk texts to **20 recipients per batch**, even when using the **“Select All Potential”** or **“Select All Enrolled”** participant options. This limit is in place to help manage server load and ensure compliance with text service provider standards that protect deliverability and reduce the risk of texts being flagged as spam. ### Which Cell Phone Number Receives the Message? When sending a bulk text, EnrollNow uses an cell phone hierarchy to determine which number receives the message. For details on how the recipient is selected, see [**Which Contact Receives Automated Emails and Text Messages?**](https://support.enrollnow.io/en/knowledge-base/which-contact-receives-automated-or-bulk-emails-and-text-messages?hsLang=en) ### Steps to Send a Bulk Text 1. **Select Participants**: - Navigate to the **Participants(Potential or Enrolled)** section within your study. - Use the checkboxes to select the participants you want to include in the text communication or **"Select all Potential (or Enrolled) Participants"** to select all. 2. **Choose the Bulk Text Option**: - From the **drop-down menu**, select **“Send Bulk Text.”** - **Option 1**: Select an existing text template from the list to automatically populate the text content. - **Option 2**: Choose **“Do not use a template”** to write a custom text. **Choose Your Text Template**: 3. **Review and Edit the Text**: - Check the text content to ensure all placeholders (e.g., ``) will pull accurate data. - Make any necessary edits to personalize or update the text content. 4. **Set Additional Text Options** (Optional): - Choose if you would like to mark the text with any of the following: - **Contact**: Record this text as the last contact or communication with the participant(s). - **Pin Text**: Pin this text for easy reference later. 1. - - **Global**: Mark the text as a global contact or communication. 2. **Send the Text**: - Click the **“Send Text”** button to send the text to your selected participants. #### **Understanding Recipient Privacy in Bulk Texts** When sending a bulk text through EnrollNow, participant privacy is maintained at all times.
