New Enhancements

New Release Announcement Banner (RI-6793)

Users will now see a New Release announcement banner at the top of the page when logging in for the first time after a new EnrollNow release is available. This helps keep users informed when new updates, fixes, and enhancements have been released.

Survey Creator Menu Name Updates (RI-6710)

Survey Creator is now named Old Survey Creator (Legacy)
Survey Creator V2 (Beta) is now Survey Creator. This is the preferred tool.

Study Status Requirement Added in Study Settings (RI-6715)

Study Settings now requires each study to have at least one Potential status and at least one Enrolled status. Previously, Study Administrators could remove all statuses, which cause errors in other areas of the application. 

Improved Task View and Edit Experience (RI-6799)

The task view and edit experience on the Tasks page has been improved to be more consistent with the task view and edit experience on the participant profile.

Task Assignment Validation Improvements (RI-6709)

Task assignment behavior has been improved when creating or editing tasks from either the participant profile or the study Tasks page. Tasks marked as Assigned now require at least one assignee. If a task is marked as Unassigned, any selected assignees will be removed.

BUG FIXES

Bug Fix: Tasks Can No Longer Be Assigned to Disabled Users (RI-6734)

Users can no longer assign tasks to disabled users. 

Bug Fix: Task Due Dates Cannot Be Set in the Past (RI-6704)

Users can no longer set task due dates in the past. 

Bug Fix: Improved Survey Variable Compatibility When Changing Question Types (RI-6743)

We corrected an issue in Survey Creator related to survey questions tied to survey variables. If a user changes the question type to a question type not compatible with the selected variable, the variable will also be disassociated from the question. In the prior version, although the variable was not visible in the drop down list, it was still connected to the question on the back end. This has been corrected.

Bug Fix: Survey Creator Pop Up Displays (RI-6713)

User can now see the full list of options in Survey Creator pop-up menus for logic statements. Prior the top portion of the menu was cut off.

Bug Fix: Surveys with No Questions Now Open Correctly (RI-6742)

We corrected an issue where a survey with no questions failed to open in the survey designer. Users can now open and edit surveys even if no questions have been added yet.

Bug Fix: Duplicate Survey Name Warning Added (RI-6708)

Users will now see a warning message when creating a new survey or renaming an existing survey with a name that already exists. This helps reduce confusion and supports clearer survey organization.

Bug Fix: Survey Logic Delete Icon Restored (RI-6703)

We resolved a user interface issue in Survey Creator where the delete icon for a logic rule was not always visible. Users can now more easily remove logic rules when editing surveys.

Bug Fix: Validated Address Questions No Longer Re-Populate on Re-Survey (RI-6711)

When re-surveying a participant with a survey that contains a validated address question type, previously submitted address fields will no longer be pre-filled with prior values. This behavior applies specifically to validated address questions in Survey Creator.

Bug Fix: Forms Tab Redaction Issue Resolved (RI-6774)

We resolved an issue on the participant profile card where users who are not Study Admins could sometimes not view completed forms on the Forms tab. 

Bug Fix: Grouped Date Custom Variables Display Correctly (RI-6737)

We corrected a display issue with grouped custom variables of type Date on the participant profile card. Previously, the date picker could be truncated when the Date custom variable was placed in a group. The date picker now displays properly.

Bug Fix: Duplicate Study Names Are No Longer Allowed (RI-6769)

Users can no longer create a study with the same name as an existing study. This helps prevent confusion when managing multiple studies.

Bug Fix: Consent Expiration Date Validation Added (RI-6705)

Users can no longer enter a consent expiration date that occurs before the consent date on a consent log entry. This helps maintain accurate consent records.

Bug Fix: Recruitment Bulk Delete Improvements (RI-6671, RI-6672)

We resolved an issue on the Recruitment Sources and Strategies pages where bulk delete operations were not deleting all selected items. Bulk delete operations now work as expected for selected Sites and Strategies.

Bug Fix: Study Component Re-Import Reliability Improved (RI-6657)

We resolved an issue on the Study Details page when importing individual study components from another study’s exported configuration. Previously, a second import attempt from the same page could fail unless the study admin refreshed or left the page. Study admins can now complete multiple study component imports without needing to refresh the page.
