Product Update Version 2.1.6 Projected Release June 24, 2026
New Enhancements
Improved Email and Text Template Management (RI-6800)
The Email and Text Templates tab now includes a dropdown menu that allows you to filter the template list by All, Active, or Archived templates. New Copy and Archive actions also make it easier to manage templates directly from the settings page.
Users can now:
-
Filter the list to display active, archived, or all templates.
-
Copy an existing template. Moved from bottom of template editing window.
-
Teams can now Archive templates that are no longer actively used in the study.
- Email and text templates can be deleted when they are no longer needed. A template must first be archived before the Delete action becomes available. This option has been moved from the bottom of the template editing window to the new Actions menu.
-
Restore archived templates if when they are needed again.
Report Builder Experience and Saved Report Improvements (RI-6825, RI-6776, RI-6763, RI-6744, RI-6740, RI-6739, RI-6556)
Report Builder now includes several improvements that make reports easier to create, review, and manage.
Navigation buttons have a styling change in the upper right for export, edit and settings of reports.
Site Administrators can update the name, description, sharing permissions, and owner of reports shared with them.
Users can now:
- Edit an existing saved report and save the changes without creating a new report.
- Drag and drop measures and dimensions to change their order in the report results.
- Scroll vertically and horizontally through report results without moving the rest of the page.
- View row numbers and the total number of records returned in a report.
- See styling updates which provide a more consistent experience across Report Builder, Saved Reports, and Account Reports.
Save and Reuse Export Configurations (RI-6244)
Site Administrators can now save frequently used export configurations, eliminating the need to rebuild the same export each time. Saved configurations created by the user appear under My Exports, while configurations shared by other users appear under Shared With Me.
Each saved export can include a unique name, an optional description, and a list of users with whom it is shared. Users can also edit, copy, or delete saved exports, making it easier to reuse and manage similar export configurations.
Improved Security Settings Experience (RI-6694)
The Security Settings page has been updated with a clearer layout and improved controls.
Changes are no longer saved automatically. Site Administrators must now select Save to apply changes or Discard to cancel them. If a user attempts to leave the page with unsaved changes, EnrollNow will display a reminder to save or discard the changes before continuing.
Bug Fixes
Custom Variable Search Follows Profile Display Order (RI-6814)
Resolved an issue where Custom Variable search results on a participant profile did not follow the order in which the variables appeared on the participant profile card. Search results now align with the configured display order.
Date of Birth Can Be Removed Without a Save Error (RI-6812)
Resolved an issue that prevented a participant profile from being saved after an existing date of birth was removed.
Custom Variable Types Display Correctly in Study Settings (RI-6811)
Resolved an issue where the variable type was not displayed for certain Custom Variables on the Study Settings > Requirements page. All custom variables will now display the type of variable (single select, date, number, short text, etc.)
Improved eConsent PDF and Countersignature Reliability (RI-6808)
Improved error handling and retry processes for eConsent PDF generation and secure file storage.
This resolves an intermittent issue that could prevent an eConsent survey from being countersigned successfully and could result in missing consent logs or countersignature documents.
Merge Tag Lists Remain Readable with Multiple Events (RI-6830)
Resolved a display issue in the email and email-template editors where long lists of Event or Custom Variable merge tags could become compressed and difficult to read.
Merge tags allow information from EnrollNow records, such as participant details, Custom Variables, or Events, to be inserted automatically into messages and templates.
Dynamic Matrix Survey Responses Available in Exports (RI-6820)
Resolved an issue where submitted responses from Dynamic Matrix survey questions were not available when exporting survey field data. These response values are now included in applicable survey exports.
