Product Update Version 2.1.8 Planned Release August 27, 2026
New Enhancements
Status Help Text Tooltips in Study Settings (RI-6888)
Help Text for each Status is now displayed as a tooltip on the Study Settings > Status page for Site Admins and Managers. Help Text provides brief, contextual guidance that explains the purpose of a Status and offers additional instructions to the user. While Status Help Text is already available as a tooltip on the Potential and Enrolled pages for end users, this update improves the configuration experience for Site Admins and Managers.
Active and Disabled User Filters in User Management (RI-6883)
Site Admins can now filter the User Management page to show All, Active, or Disabled users. The page defaults to Active users, making it easier to focus on users who currently have access to EnrollNow.
Save and Discard Changes on Study Details (RI-6846)
The Study Details page has been updated to make editing study information easier and more intentional. Related fields are now grouped together, Import and Export options are easier to find, and changes will no longer save automatically. Instead, you can choose Save Changes when you are ready or Discard Changes if you do not want to keep your updates.
Grouped Dimensions in Report Builder (RI-6768)
Finding the data you want to include in a report is now easier. Report Builder dimensions are organized into categories, allowing you to quickly browse and select the information you need when creating or updating a report.
Bug Fixes
Correct Date and Time Values in Survey Creator (RI-6906)
Survey questions that use the currentDate() function with a Date/Time variable will now correctly capture and display the current date and time.
Improved Report Builder Settings Performance (RI-6900)
The Report Builder Settings window now loads more efficiently for sites with a large number of users, reducing delays and preventing the page from freezing.
Special Characters Pass Correctly Between Surveys (RI-6899)
When one survey redirects to another and passes information such as a first and last name through the URL, special characters are now handled correctly so the destination survey opens as expected.
Recruitment Site Values Save Correctly from Internal Surveys (RI-6897)
When an internal survey includes a question connected to the Recruitment Site variable, the selected value will populate the selected Recruitment Site and associated Recruitment Source in the participant profile.
Survey Logic Remains Intact When Study Statuses Are Added (RI-6893)
In some circumstances, adding a new Study Status could break existing survey logic statements involving Status. This has been resolved and logic statments are not negatively impacted when new status values are added.
Improved Display of Contact Indicators (RI-6887)
The Preferred Contact and Notes indicators on the participant profile will now display correctly without overlapping other information when the screen size or participant profile card is reduced.
Survey Designer in Survey Creator Stays in Place After Saving (RI-6886)
After saving changes in Survey Designer, the page will now remain at the location where you were working instead of automatically scrolling, making it easier to continue editing without losing your place.
Improved Numeric Filter Validation in Report Builder (RI-6841)
When using a Report Builder filter based on a numeric variable, EnrollNow will now prompt you to enter a valid numeric character if a non-numeric character is entered. This helps prevent errors when running the report.
Merge Tags Work Correctly in Linked Email Text (RI-6832)
Merge tags included in URLs behind linked text in an email paragraph block will now be presented correctly, helping ensure personalized links work as expected when emails are sent.
Registry Eligibility Warnings Display for the Correct Participants (RI-6798)
Registry filters will now correctly refresh study eligibility warnings when working with different participants. A warning triggered for one group of participants will no longer continue to appear for another group that is eligible for the study.
