New Enhancements

Improved Filter Variable Selection in Report Builder (RI-6910)

Report Builder filters now use a tree-style selector, making it easier to browse, locate, and select filter variables. This enhancement provides a more intuitive experience that is consistent with the existing dimension-selection options in Report Builder.

Multiple Date and Date/Time Filters in Report Builder (RI-6912)

Report Builder now allows users to add multiple date and date/time filters to a single report, providing greater flexibility when refining report results. Each filter offers the same comprehensive configuration options previously available only for the primary date filter. When running a saved report, users can review and configure each date filter directly from the Saved Reports list.

Restored Logic Rule Display in Survey Creator (RI-6940)

Based on customer feedback, we restored the previous display format for logic rules involving choice-based questions. The Logic Rule Editor once again displays the question name and answer ID rather than the question title introduced in a recent update. This change returns the editor to the familiar and consistent Survey Creator experience our users are accustomed to.

Bug Fixes

Improved Forms Tab Stability Across Studies (RI-6946, RI-6933)

We resolved an issue that sometimes prevented the Forms tab from opening when a participant was enrolled in more than one study or when the person who submitted a form no longer had access to the study. Users with the appropriate permissions can now open and view the participant’s available forms as expected.

Invalid Date Values No Longer Prevent Participant Pages from Loading (RI-6927)

We fixed an issue where an incorrectly entered date or time in a survey could prevent the Potential Participants or Enrolled Participants page from opening. These pages will now load as expected even if a survey contains an invalid date or time. Please keep in mind, the invalid data will not be visible in the associated variable field.

Participant Comment Notifications (RI-6932)

We resolved an issue where selecting Notify on a participant comment did not properly alert users who were subscribed to "Participant Email" notifications. Notifications will now be sent as expected to users who have enabled study specific notifications in My Account.

Improved Matrix Question Formatting in PDF Exports (RI-6931)

We fixed an issue where matrix questions with several columns could be cut off when a survey was exported as a PDF. The columns will now automatically resize to fit within the page. Matrix questions with many columns may still be difficult to read, so we recommend previewing the PDF before sharing or distributing it.

Scheduled Events Display on User Dashboard (RI-6937)

We resolved an issue where scheduled events sometimes appeared on the wrong date on the user's site Dashboard. Events will now appear on their scheduled date, even when it differs from the expected date. 

Task Comment Options Restored (RI-6935)

We fixed an issue where the Notify and Pin Comment options were missing when users added comments to tasks from the Participant Profile Card. Both options are now available and working as expected.

Saved Registry Filters and Deleted Custom Variables (RI-6138)

We fixed an issue where the Registry could stop responding if a saved filter used a Global Custom Variable that was later deleted or changed to a non-global variable. EnrollNow will  alert users that related saved filters will also be deleted when they make either of these changes. The affected filters are then removed automatically to prevent future errors.

Performance and Responsiveness Improvements (RI-6921, RI-6920, RI-6918, RI-6915, RI-6922)

We made several behind-the-scenes improvements to help EnrollNow run faster and more efficiently. These updates include:

  • Faster login page loading
  • Quicker survey response exports
  • More efficient participant imports
  • Improved Google Calendar synchronization

The export and import improvements apply to both the EnrollNow application and the API. Together, these updates reduce processing demands and provide a faster, more responsive experience for users.

Updated Participant Status in Contact Logs (RI-5910)

We fixed an issue where the Contact Log window did not immediately show a participant’s new status after it was updated on the Participant Profile Card. The updated status will now appear as expected when adding a contact record.
